Skiff Medical Center has expanded its Occupational Health services with new services and new hours to serve you! We now offer a comprehensive solution to your work-related injuries. Our staff of experts can help you expedite the return-to-work process, saving both money and time. With our new clinic and additional medical coverage, you can send you work comp injuries directly to us ­ avoiding costly E.R. visits.

  • Cost effective handling of Worker’s Compensation cases, from initial injury to treatment, specialist referral, rehabilitation and return to work
  • Convenience and expanded medical coverage available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Skiff Medical Center in Newton
  • Expert evaluation and treatment of work injuries in our new clinic
  • Frequent and timely communication (including timely written reports and regular phone consultation regarding your cases)
  • A comprehensive menu of services, tailored to meet your needs, including
    • Suturing, casting and other urgent care for work injuries
    • Pre-employment physicals
    • Saliva alcohol testing
    • Drug screening
    • D.O.T. physicals
    • Health screens
    • Immunizations
    • Flu vaccinations
    • TB testing
    • Compliance with OSHA-required programs
  • Current knowledge of OSHA lost-time rules and other regulations
  • A deep understanding of the psychology of work injuries, developed over many years of working with employees.

our team

Skiff Medical Center’s Occupational Health team includes an Occupational Health Physician, a Certified Physician Assistant and highly qualified nurses. Each member of our staff has years of experience in treating work related injuries.

our location

We are located in our new Occupational Medicine clinic on the ground floor of Skiff Medical Center. The clinic is easily accessible to your employees through Skiff’s south entrance.
